was watching some videos the other day.. things related to 2012.. it seems that 2012 may not spell doomsday afterall!!! according to the mayan calendar, 2012 merely spells the end of one cycle of time and the beginning of another! some research has shown that throughout Man's history, there were periods when human experienced tremendous advances. evidences of these can be seen in cave paintings. what has caused these sudden advances? Scientists have believed it to be cosmic radiation. During the period where these advances were notable, lvls of cosmic ray have been found to be exceeding normal levels. moreover, experiments have found traces of cosmic radiation penetrating the deepest reaches of Earth! since then, ancient shamen have visited these deep caves to view these spectacular displays as a result of cosmic rays in a trance - dancing lights.

Cosmis rays may be able to alter our dna when our cells go thru their usual replication cycles. Hence, it is believed that these rays may be the reason for mankind's steady advances throughout the years. where does the cosmic ray come from? one of the constellation of Cygnus's depleted star is believed to be the source. And that is one of the reasons why Cygnus is a significant symbol in many cultures, including the mayans. Does the phrase "our fate therefore lies within the stars" actually refer to this?

so what could 2012 bring for us? it could be a significant moment when mankind will experience a sudden spurt of advancement just like in the past? certainly it can be. but could it mean plainly and literally, the end of our time? nth is for certain.. only time will tell..
