Few days later it was 14 Feb already. Pretty fast. Seemed like last year's vday just passed and this year's has already come. =/ Alot of people were like carrying presents arnd, ranging from small ones to balloons to FLOWERS!! Thought it was like going to be like previous years, no prezzies, however, this year, i got 2!! haha, better than none. =) One from fatimah, our class chairperson and the other from lucinda! yay.

LUCINDA's PREZZIE! there were 3 sweets accompanying this bottle. They were all wrapped together like a dumpling.

yup, those are the 2 prezzies i've got. i know it's ONLY 2 but im appeased already. THANKS YOU TWO! sorry didnt get any prezzies! =(

after school, went out with momo, keith and lu to city hall. went for swensens where i didnt eat cos i had dinner at home then went for a challenge. LU CHALLENGED ME BISHI BASHI! and i am proud to say that i BEAT lucinda at the stage which i was supposed to be the lousiest at. it was the stage where u have to bash the colors according to the layers of a totem. Eventually i lost luh. GIRLS, like lu, are better at that game. herh. im better at other games. ok that's all for this post. Dedicated to lucinda. Enough hor? -_-

ROAD RUN! that's like 2 weeks ago or so. Well im blogging abt it now. =D Got up like 5 am in the morning to eat breakfast before meeting shanzheng then going over to ECP for roadrun. The night before, the Coralites in TPJC all gathered in MSN discussed how we're gonna get to ECP the next day. Sammy offered to fetch me there but then, as a senior, cannot possibly abandon the J1s who dont know how to go there right? yea.. so i sacrificed luh. went with the J1 coralites. Only shanzheng turned up cos aiman got prayers in the morning. so yea. got there damn early la. took some pics while waiting for everyone else to arrive.

Ok that was the morning. After the whole school assembled at ECP, the road run began. I was one of the competitive runners so had to run first with all the other competitors. 5 KM!!! omg luh.. last year ran once.. dunno this year can again anot. Well, lucinda placed a bet on me, tt gave some pressure. didnt care much, just listened to my mp3 and ran. During the last part of the run, my sole was hurting cos of the shoe. always happens if i do long dist run or walk. haha at least i complete luh. couldnt remember my position cos i forgot to look at it AGAIN! lol. After road run, went bowling with the rest of the bowling club. Forgot what happened there anyway. Nth interesting, just normal training. I DO remember that when i got home, i was SUPER tired. run le leg "sour", train le hand "sour". haha. and now, random pics that i took.

OKAY! Finally something to blog about. Went for "Ice cream making with liquid nitrogen" workshop on 1 Feb (Thurs)with Rahman, Alvin and Sammy. All the coral peeps. haha.. It was after PE and ice cream after PE is certainly something worth looking forward to. lol. We went thru some theory thingies about liquid nitrogen and some demonstration. Liquid Nitrogen has a MP of 200 degree celcius. The teacher in charge put a banana, eraser and a leaf off a cabbage into a tub of nitrogen(l) as a demonstration. Those stuff came out to be SUPER HARD!! The banana could actually hammer a nail into a piece of wood!! O.o! No volunteers to try putting their hand into the tub. haha..

Ingredients needed: Cream, full cream milk, vanilla essence and chocolate chip toppings. Not forgetting Liquid Nitrogen

After mixing the all the ingredients together, we started to divide the mixture into 4 cups. Then added some more vanilla essence cos i suggested it wasnt enough. No smell one.

That's the teacher pouring the liquid nitrogen into the mixture. Then we have to stir the mixture.

Scooping the ice cream up while it was still hard. Looks like dunno what right.

The whole piece of ice cream that has became soft enough to be scooped up as a whole. The brown stuff at the top are chocolate chip.

Right. So what was nitrogen's role in ice cream making?? It was to freeze the solution by taking in the heat of the mixture. The liquid nitrogen will then vapourise bringing away the heat. I was stirring my cup with the vapour caressing over me. ITS SUPER COOLING!! like air con like that. =D see the vapour while stirring.

ok tts all for the nitrogen ice cream. We ate it eventually. Nice and sweet tasting
