Chapter2.::Dave::.
Marina opened her eyes and sat up on her bed. It was a brand new day. The scent of the lush grass, the sounds of birds singing, the feeling of the wind caressing her skin. Marina felt great, she felt great to be alive. What happened last night was probably a nightmare. A nightmare that just felt like real.
Their eyes met. Marina saw nothing in those blue eyes, there was no life within it. Dave turned away. For a moment, Marina could swear she saw a glitter of a tear at the corner of his eyes. Thinking nothing of it, Marina walked away, feeling a leap of joy being able to catch his eyes. She felt free. She didnt know why but she know she liked that feeling.
*BRING*
The canteen was full as usual. Marina found her usual quiet spot and settled in. Today, someone else was near her spot. Someone with wavy brown hair and a pair of white-framed spectacles. He stood up. Tossing his bag over his shoulder, he walked off with a sniff. It was Dave. He wasn't with Jasmine like he always was. And that sniff was not a normal sniff. It was a sniff with a hint of sadness. Marina couldn't help it but think that something was wrong. The angel on Dave's bag winked. Marina blinked. "Wha... I must be tired." She lay down and closed her eyes. Something was wrong...
